- I was born and grew up in Lodz, Poland
- in 1990, my family and I moved to Antwerp, Belgium
- in 2000, I moved to the US
- since 2001, I am a doctoral student in Russian and
Second Language Acquisition in the Department of Russian at Bryn Mawr College
